TOOOORONTOOOO….Concrete jungle where dreams are made of!
So you’re probably wondering why I started our blog post off with that? Well I thought that was an appropriate opening line because of some of the events we got attend these past few days.
On Tuesday, James and I headed down to the Apprenticeship Career Connections Fair which was held at International Centre on Airport Rd. There were tones of companies and schools there which were offering information and help on apprenticeship programs. You could find information on so many trades from aesthetics all the way to mechanics. It was definitely a place where you could kick-start your dreams and gets your career going.
Of course, that wasn’t the only event we visited. This past Sunday, myself, Hung, and Rob (our newest Team Flow member) went to KOT Productions: Jazz, Art, Soul & You at the Fairmont Royal York. It was a beautiful charitable event with live auctions and art displays. There were even performances by dancers, singers, musicians, and spoken word artists. All proceeds went towards supporting Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Canada. Trust me on this one, if you consider yourself grown and sexy then this was an event you did not want to miss. We had a great time, I just wish I could have stayed longer! Oh well, there’s always next year.
Anyway, thats it for today and remember, if you see us on the streets make sure you say hi!
